With one round bale in my pick up truck, After sixty miles of gravel road, A Mountie wrote me a ticket, Because I did not secure my load. Now I had a load strap on it, I had tied her down real tight, So I showed up in traffic court, I aint going down without a fight. He conceded, I had done alright Tying down that hay, But claimed a little dust and chaff, Had blown off along the way! The Judge, she fined me eighty bucks, Because I did not tarp that load.
